The position is part of a transformation project led by the deployment of SAP and new standardized manufacturing processes in our clients Canadian plants (travel across sites up to 50%). 

 

The business analyst participates in the design of the new SAP solution, more specifically in the MES module, as well as its deployment on site.

The main mandate will be to coordinate and carry out key activities, whether in the design or deployment phase. It will have to change current processes to adapt them to the new solution.

 

• Support testing activities and defect resolution in collaboration with technical and factory teams
• Collaborate with local stakeholders (mechanics, engineers, electricians, programmers) to optimize MES implementation and ensure optimal commissioning.
• Coordinate design or resolution meetings by identifying stakeholders and guiding discussions to reach decisions. Document and track identified actions. 
• Identify opportunities for improving business processes. Add value to SAP and MES implementation .
• Support process harmonization across sites and alignment with the standard solution. 
• Become the owner of the solution in the processes assigned to it. 
• Participate in the construction of training materials and train new users. 
• Identify opportunities for improvement in how processes are rolled out to new users.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time 

• College or university diploma required and/or related experience.
• Experience in a similar role and in SAP implementation project in the manufacturing sector  
• Relevant or combined experience in production, engineering, maintenance or operational improvement in a manufacturing environment in the agri-food industry. In dairy products, an asset.
• Expertise in process improvement or standard management. 
• Prior experience in MES and SAP implementation
• Availability to travel between 30-50% of the time. 
• Bilingual (French, English) – Close communication with various stakeholders across Canada
