Lead MES Engineer

RoviSys
🧩 About the Role
As a Lead MES Engineer at RoviSys Netherlands, you’ll play a critical “player-coach” role:
- Leading MES project delivery while mentoring junior engineers and helping grow a newly forming team.
- You’ll work closely with clients across Europe to design, implement, and support MES solutions across diverse industries and platforms.
- This is a high-impact, technically challenging role for someone who thrives on autonomy, variety, and growing new business lines.
- You’ll be given freedom and trust to own delivery, shape direction, and influence the growth of MES within Europe—while collaborating with global teams across the US and Asia.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation and MES projects from design to post-go-live
- Mentor and train junior engineers and graduates on MES delivery best practices
- Conduct workshops with clients to define business processes and technical MES requirements

- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and clients across various industries
- Participate in industrial software training delivered by RoviSys architects
- Travel for client site installations and on-site deployments (approx. 20–30%)
🎯 Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on MES project delivery experience
- 2+ years of programming experience in C#, Python, or C++

Candidates with experience on other MES platforms will absolutely be considered. The specific platform is less important than a strong understanding of how MES systems function, how they connect to business processes, and the leadership and mentorship qualities required to guide MES delivery teams.
