Our client is seeking a

MES Consultant – Team Lead


 with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Team Lead MES Consultant is responsible for our Consulting and Support teams. As our multi-focus expert you will be responsible for the business performance by acting as liaisons between customers and our teams.
The role will be responsible for the activities described below:


Responsibilities – What you will do:




Manage the Consultant and Support teams as a mentor and a leader

• Collaborate with prospects, customers and the internal consulting service team

• Establish and maintain environment and culture that promotes internal and external Service Excellence

• Track and monitor KPIs for both teams and present metrics and plans to leadership on a regular basis

• Ensure the daily management and scheduling of resources in an optimal and efficient way

• Serve as an escalation point and be accountable for coordinating internal collaboration to resolve critical issues acting as an advocate for the customer

• Identify and remove bottlenecks that impede the progress of the consulting and support teams

• Maintain and enhance the existing processes and workflows

• Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance reviews

• Become an expert in their software solutions

• Provide Pre Sales support for meetings, demos, RFP responses to the Sales during the sales process as requested

• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations


Qualifications – What you will bring:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience

• Relevant 5+ years experience in manufacturing or manufacturing software

• Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills

• Be successful at simultaneously executing operational tasks while driving strategic initiatives; have an innate desire to drive change in the pursuit of excellence

• Be comfortable and effective in a fast-paced environment; you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a hands-on manner, adjusting to issues as they arise

• ‘Connect-the-dots’ quickly to assess a situation and know how to bring in the right resources at the right time; you are a holistic and creative problem solver

• Be a hands-on leader when needed

• Positive, creative and enthusiastic, you think quickly on your feet and adapt easily to change

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities in a dynamic and changing environment
• Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline

• Great leaders are masters of communication

• Professionalism in personality, appearance, and work product

• US Citizen or Green card holder

• Nice to have: second language like Spanish, German, French or Portuguese
