Position Overview
The MES Lead is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of our customers MES onsite at their Aiken, South Carolina facility.
Due to customer requirements, the need is for onsite working. The client operates a four day working week, so your schedule will be
4x10hr days, with Fridays off.

As the MES Lead will deliver quality solutions and services to customers using Emerson’s Syncade MES, and will have close interaction with project management and account management to ensure that the project is delivered within the schedule and budget.
Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will provide mentoring and leadership to other engineers assigned to projects.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to analyze/develop functional requirements for MES solutions through client interviews and documentation analysis
- Work in a team to develop detailed designs, implement, troubleshoot and test MES solutions that meet client/project requirements. Including but not limited to:
- Interface with the Solutions Consultant team to identify and create new business opportunities
- Develop documentation including creating test scripts as required for validated facilities
- Work independently on-site at a customer location
- Provide mentoring of fellow project members
- Support start-up and commissioning activities at customer sites
Must Have Requirements
- US Citizenship with a valid driver’s license required
- 5-7 years Technical MES experience
