The
Sales Development Manager

will lead, support, and mentor the team of Sales Dev. Representatives identify, qualify, and nurture leads to meet qualified lead pipeline metrics. The SD Manager is responsible for developing target accounts, contacting potential new accounts, qualifying complex accounts as sales leads, coordinating and collaborating with the sales force, and supporting marketing campaigns.

Essential Functions:
  • Achievement of team quota focused on delivering monthly qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and continued education programs focused on SDR’s development.
  • Daily support to SDRs around sales strategy, processes, & pipeline generation.
  • Develop SDR-focused sales training and playbook.
  • Optimizing the outreach strategy (phone, email, LinkedIn, SMS, etc.) to set up meetings and opportunities for the sales team.
  • Develop and deliver monthly SDR KPI reports to leadership
  • Support the development/revisions of messaging the SDR team uses across channels.
  • Collecting prospect intel from SDRs to share with marketing, sales, and leadership
  • Attending conferences and industry events
  • Ability to manage and keep multiple commitments simultaneously – excellent multitasking skills.
  • Ability to build relationships via direct contact with people of all levels, internally and externally.
  • Support various marketing campaigns through thorough follow-up activities.

Requirements:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales or business development (or similar) in a B2B environment 3-5+ years of experience in a team lead or management role
  • Previous experience in software sales and/or selling to manufacturers is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytic gathering, & KPI presentation skills
  • Prospecting, closing, & qualifying skills. Mid-Large enterprise market experience is a plus.
  • Project planning and timeline execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Create persuasive prospect messaging (written/verbal)
  • Aerospace & Defense Industry knowledge a plus
  • Enterprise Software knowledge (ERP, MES, PLM)
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesloft, Demandbase, Gong, Hubspot, and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Up to 10% Travel, primarily for special events or training.

Required Education/Experience:



Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; or equivalent

Midpoint Salary: $135,000.00
