Service Description:
Within the Site Technical Services department, the Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Master Batch Records (MBR) in the Siemens OpCenter Execution Pharma MES system. To support the team, we are looking for a Project Engineer Master Batch Records.

 

Job content:
In this role, you are partly responsible for the design, installation, testing, documentation & validation of new and adaptable master batch records (MBRs) and related master data for various operational units in different computer systems (MES, ERP, Databases). For this purpose, you regularly meet with the various departments to record the requirements and timelines in the context of various projects (new or adaptations to production lines, new or adaptations to integrated applications, stricter requirements, etc.). You then translate these into functional and technical concepts that you finally integrate into the MBR. You are flexible enough to make minor but critical changes to the MBRs for which you are responsible and this within the agreed, sometimes short due date.

 

Milestones / Deliverables:
Task package:
• Translation of production processes into MBRs and related master data. In doing so, you take into account the strict procedures specific to the pharmaceutical industry: Quality Standards, current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions.
• Daily interdepartmental contacts with supervision within production and quality.

 

• Occasional international contacts
• Leading improvement projects in the context of quality
• Active participation in project teams, operational teams & system teams
• Responsible for user support of your Master Batch records (including training and coaching), occasionally also after office hours
• Close cooperation with IT & automation

 

Personal Skills:
• Master’s degree in a scientific direction or similar through experience
• Interest in MES/ERP systems and their interfaces / affinity with computer systems
• Strong analytical skills with insight into pharmaceutical production and scientific processes.

• Ability to work accurately, right-first-time work is essential in this position
• Hands-on mentality, taking initiative
• Willing to step into a shift system with rotation (with appropriate compensation)
• Good at planning & organization, independent
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
• Good communication and writing skills
• The following are recommended (but not a must):
o Experience in a similar position or industry
o Knowledge of SQL, Python, SCADA, PLC
o Lean – Six Sigma
