We are looking for a Senior IT Functional Analyst specializing in global operations (MFG/MES), with a particular focus on AVEVA MES.

 

In this role you will be responsible for the design, technical coordination and management of manufacturing processes (MFG) in SAP S/4 HANA and AVEVA MES. 

 

You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions and collaborating with stakeholders to define the technology roadmap. This strategic position also involves managing complex projects and supporting existing systems.

 

• Business Requirements Translation: Ability to gather business requirements and efficiently transform them into functional technical solutions with minimal rework.
• Design and development of MES and SCADA systems: Participate in the design and development of MES and SCADA applications and systems.
• Technical Documentation Writing: Produce technical documentation including specific requirements, from design to test plans for SCADA and MES systems.
• Collaboration with the user community: Work closely with users to communicate goals, potential outcomes, and act as a change agent.
• Project Leadership: Lead regular interactions with project teams to inform, negotiate and maintain a positive relationship and a shared vision of project results.
• Agile and Waterfall Project Management: Lead projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and play a leadership role within a diverse team of internal resources and contractors.
• Technology Roadmap Development: Play a key role in developing the technology roadmap in areas of responsibility.
• Project management in partnership with the PMO: Manage small projects in accordance with existing best practices, in partnership with the company’s PMO.
• Facilitation of Project Review Meetings: Support and facilitate the planning of regular project review meetings.

• University degree in information technology, business administration or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in IT project management.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP platform, with specialization in SAP PP/PPDS.
• 5+ years of experience with SCADA/MES products, especially AVEVA/Wonderware solutions.
• Equivalent combination of training and/or experience may be considered.
• PMP and Agile certifications highly recommended.
• AVEVA MES certification highly recommended.
• SAP S/4 HANA PP and/or PPDS certifications strongly recommended.
• Experience in automation with SCADA products (asset).
• Proven experience in developing partnerships between business and technology domains.
• Demonstrated experience in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of label management solutions, in particular Loftware NiceLabel and cloud printing solutions (asset).
